About Joy Cox

Originally from South Carolina, I made my way to Oklahoma 14 years ago when my husband’s U.S. Navy career brought us here. After 22 years of active duty service, he’s now retired, and we’re proud to call Oklahoma our forever home.

I’ve spent the last 14 years supporting real estate professionals in leadership and operational roles, with a strong emphasis on compliance and disbursements. While I’m a licensed agent, my true passion is behind the scenes—supporting brokerage operations, maintaining compliance standards, and overseeing the financial side of transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment at closing.

Outside of real estate, I co-own a travel agency where I manage back-office operations and support a team of advisors. I enjoy building systems that allow others to focus on what they do best, and I have a deep love for travel and exploring new places.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me traveling, grabbing sushi, listening to live music, or enjoying tacos at one of our local favorites. Oklahoma’s welcoming spirit—much like my South Carolina roots—has made it a wonderful place to raise our two daughters: Brianna, an OR nurse, and Katelynn, who is currently in nursing school. My husband of 23 years—my high school sweetheart—and our Frenchie, Kash, keep me grounded, while my “grand-dog,” Tank, adds even more joy to the mix. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge Frenchie fan!

I’m excited to begin this next chapter with The Agency and continue supporting agents through strong operations, clear processes, and a commitment to excellence behind the scenes.
